eneXs Server – Central query server for all pertinent databases

For one-time queries from mobile and stationary devices, the eneXs server offers a variety of interfaces to diverse official databases (Swiss national, international, nationwide or cantonal).

Various applications require an integrated online query on the available search and administration databases. Each query system differs in terms of supported query combinations, returned data, code values used, etc. This results in a great deal of complexity for the development of applications in which the queries on these systems are integrated. Many data sources are evolved over time and continuously adapted to the changed requirements. This results in a corresponding implementation and administration effort.

The eneXs server offers the possibility to reduce this complexity through the technically and content-wise standardized one-time query. For this purpose, the query parameters are transferred in a standardized form from the client device (stationary or mobile) to the eneXs server which relays the query to the various systems and prepares the results in summary form. For individual hits, further data such as full information, import data, images, biometric data or additional attachments can be loaded.
